Every summer Marek and Janina work in the Bieszczady Mountains making charcoal. Far from civilization, in a remote mountain area, they follow the rhythm dictated by nature.

Born in 1982 in Dębno Lubuskie. He graduated in automation and robotics from the Szczecin University of Technology. He made his first independent films when still a student. In 2006 he started studying film directing at the Łódź Film School (PWSFTViT).
