We are looking for efficient persons with good communication and organisational skills, who know Warsaw well and are fluent in Polish, English and / or Russian (spoken and written), to work for the Warsaw Film Festival and CentEast Market Warsaw.

Widely read film magazine The Hollywood Reporter published recently a
calendar of film festivals for 2010, in which there are listed sixteen European film festivals and thirty four from the rest of the world. Among them, Warsaw Film Festival is mentioned.

The European Film Academy has announced the list of 48 films which will compete for the European Film Awards this year. As many as twelve of them are in the programme of the 25th Warsaw Film Festival. This year's European Film Awards will be presented on 12 December in Essen, Germany.

The 25th Warsaw International Film Festival will be held on 9-18 October 2009. The complete list of films will be announced on Wednesday, 23 September at noon at a press conference, but we can already tell you about the Polish accents during this year’s WFF.

 This year the Warsaw Film Festival celebrates its 25th jubilee. The festival will be held on 9-18 October at the Multikino Złote Tarasy, Kinoteka, and, after a break of some years, Kultura and Rejs cinemas.

 As usual, the Warsaw Film Festival will be accompanied by the CentEast Market Warsaw, the regional film market specializing in productions from Central and Eastern Europe. This year’s, fifth CentEast will be held on 16-18 October.

 Starting this year, the Warsaw Grand Prix, or the Warsaw Great Prize, awarded to the winner of the International Competition at the WIFF, will be truly great. The director of the winning project will receive 100,000 Polish zlotys (minus tax), or approx. 25,000 euros.
