The films in the “New Films, New Directors” International Competition is judged by the international jury of directors: Evgeni Tsymbal (Chairman), Unni Straume, Małgorzata Szumowska, Pavel Marek, and Babak Payami.
Grand Prix Nescafé and 5,000 euro went to “S liuboviu, Lilja“ (With Love, Lilly) by Larisa Sadilova, Russia
Two equal special mentions went to:
“Depuis qu`Otar est parti“ (Since Otar Left) by Julie Bertuccelli, France / Belgium
“Conspiracy of Silence“ by John Deery, UK.
